In the climax of the film, Kitai faces off against the deadliest creature on Earth, a monstrous alien creature called the Ursa, which hunts by sensing fear. Overcoming his fear and using his ghosting ability, Kitai manages to defeat the Ursa and signal for rescue, saving himself and his father.

The film ends with Kitai and Cypher being rescued and returning home, their bond stronger than ever as they reflect on their harrowing ordeal and the lessons they've learned.
